Our Story
STRAVAER was founded on a simple frustration: getting a caravan serviced meant booking time off work, arranging a tow, and spending a day without your van. We knew there had to be a better way.
With over ten years of hands-on experience in the caravan industry, we set out to bring professional, NCC-approved servicing directly to caravan owners — at home, in storage, or on site. No towing. No hassle. Just a fully equipped engineer turning up at your door.
Today we service and repair all makes and models across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, from routine annual services to damp inspections, gas safety checks, and full repairs. Every job is backed by our commitment to transparent pricing and quality workmanship.
What is a Stravaer?

Stravaer takes its name from the traditional Scots word stravaig — a term deeply rooted in Scottish culture, describing the act of wandering freely and embracing wherever the road takes you.
We adapted it into Stravaer — transforming the idea into an identity. The -er ending makes it personal: a Stravaer is someone who explores, discovers, and embraces the journey.
It is a name with Scottish roots, built around curiosity, adventure, and going beyond the expected. That same spirit shapes everything we do — keeping you on the road, wherever that road leads.
